Credit Controller
Edinburgh - Salary range: £19 to £23k

Our client is looking to appoint 2 capable and motivated credit controllers on a full time, permanent basis. You will be working within a friendly experienced team with good long term prospects. The office is based in Edinburgh with on-site parking and easy public transport access.

The credit controller is responsible for controlling the levels of consumer debt and achieving collection targets.

Essential requirements for this role are:

  • Significant dedicated credit control experience within a consumer/commercial, target-driven environment
  • A consistent record of improving collections performance
  • Strong people and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience of delivering meaningful reports and commentary on collections performance to management

Desirable criteria include:

  • Good intermediate level MS Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookup
  • ICM membership or associate membership
  • Good working knowledge of Oracle eFinancials AR subledger and general ledger modules
  • Good intermediate level MS Word skills such as mail-merge

Book-Keeper
Edinburgh (Part-Time)

We are currently looking for an experienced book-keeper to assist a busy office in Edinburgh on a part-time basis. This role requires working 16 hrs per week and can be adapted to suit the successful candidate.

This is an extremely busy role and requires a hands on individual with experience.

As the book-keeper reporting to the Director your duties will include:

  • Managing the day to day book-keeping at the company using their software
  • Processing purchases orders, ensuring that invoices from suppliers and sales invoices are correctly accounted for
  • Receipt of payments from customers
  • Bank reconciliation on a monthly basis
  • Ensuring supplier invoice payments are prepared for the MD to sign cheques
  • Producing basic monthly profit and loss reports

The ideal book-keeper must have experience in all the above duties, be highly competent in using computers and relevant software packages, ideally Sage Line 50, and be able to hit the ground running to fulfill this role.

We have a number of vacancies for qualified and practising ACA and ACCAs. Ideally we are looking for 3-5 years experience.

The contracts are for two years. The 457 Visa class that the you will be admitted under is good for four years so there is a possibility for extensions.

Currently the positions are with the Big 4 and some top 2nd tier firms mainly in Sydney but possibly other roles in Melb and Brisbane.
